As my children have grown older, our playtime has evolved into something truly enjoyable. In their toddler years, I found it challenging to engage with toys and the typical activities that come with early childhood. While we did share moments of fun, they often revolved around different experiences that didn't involve traditional play.
Now that my kids are older, we've discovered a shared passion for board games and video games. These activities have become a wonderful way to bond, allowing us to connect on a deeper level while having fun. The strategic thinking involved in board games and the excitement of video games have opened up new avenues for interaction.
It's heartwarming to see how our relationships have transformed through these shared interests. We laugh, compete, and celebrate victories together, creating lasting memories. This shift in our playtime dynamic has not only strengthened our family bond but has also made me appreciate the joy of playing with my children.
